In discussions with the State Foresters, a common set of issues were identified that they are currently facing in their States. They are water, silvilculture/wildlife, fire, biomass, social science, ecosystem services and range.
Meeting Goal: To develop and expand cooperation and support between organizations by:
- Having a face-to-face meeting with peers in among the States and FS R&D
- Presentation from States and Stations on a top project, program or study in the defined issue areas
- Identifying concerns and/or problems within the defined issue areas
- Identifying areas of cooperation
